Lisbon is once again set to welcome the next generation of ambitious founders. Applications are now openfor the 2026 edition of Startup World Cup Portugal, taking place on 17–18 June 2026 and organised by Fasttrack Ventures, in partnership with Unicorn Factory Lisboa and Pegasus Tech Ventures.

Powered globally by Pegasus Tech Ventures in Silicon Valley, Startup World Cup is the world’s leading startup pitch competition, connecting high-potential startups with investors, corporates and ecosystem leaders across more than 70 countries. Each regional competition selects one winning startup to advance to the Grand Finale in San Francisco, where they will compete for a $1 million investment prize.

Following a strong first edition in Portugal, Startup World Cup Portugal returns to Lisbon with renewed ambition — offering startups a gateway to international visibility, meaningful connections with investors and corporate decision-makers, and the opportunity to represent Portugal on the global stage.

Applications are open to startups ready to scale, gain visibility and showcase their solutions in front of a high-level jury and audience. Over two days, the event will once again bring together founders, investors, corporates and ecosystem leaders for a programme focused on innovation, technology and growth.
