The following privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how FastTrack Ventures, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Portugal, with registered office at Rua do Cais das Naus, n.º 1B e 1C, Parque das Nações, 1990-305 Lisboa - Portugal(“We”, "FastTrack" or "Company") operates its platform (whether through our website or our mobile application) (“Platform”) and how we collect, use, and share www.fasttrack.vc visitors’ (“You”, "Users" or each a "User") personal information.This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between Users and the Company. This Policy lists our current policies, but, as noted below, this Policy may be adjusted from time to time at Company’s discretion. By utilizing the Company’s Platform, User expressly agrees to this Policy, and with any adjustments that may be introduced to it and evidenced at the Privacy Policy page. Those who do not agree to be subject to this Policy, or any subsequent changes to it, may not, under any circumstances, use this Company’s Platform and should stop accessing the Platform.
1. Data Collection.
User should be aware that the Company may collect and track non-personally identifiable information about the User including User’s IP address, the type of browser User employs, and the referral ID. On occasion Users may be asked to submit specific personal, professional and academic documentation that will also be subject to the provisions of this Policy.The Platform may also collect additional relevant information from third party sites or platforms, whenever you link this Platform with other platforms. In which case, we may obtain additional personal information that you have provided to third party sites or platforms, to the extent allowed by your settings with that third party.
2. Entry by User/Update.
Certain areas of this Platform will require entry by the User of personal information. Company requires the User to supply such information and expects such information provided as being true, updated and accurate.In addition, User may request that Company update, modify, or delete User's information by sending an email to hello@fasttrack.vc
3. Use of User Information.
Company reserves the right to compile, save, use within the scope of Company’s activities, and analyze any and all User’s data (submission data, use history, etc). Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and contractors intend to use such User data for internal purposes only, including without limitation, for the purposes of providing User support, responding to User requests for information, and for contacting User. Company may provide aggregated statistics about users to third parties, but such information will be aggregated so that it does not identify a particular individual or company, including User.We may, either directly or through third party companies and individuals engage to provide services to us, review, scan, or analyze your communications, for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, investigation, product development, research and customer support purposes. By using the Platform, you consent that the Company, in its sole discretion, may, either directly or through third party and individuals to engage, provide services to us, review, scan, analyze, and store your communications, whether done manually or through automated means.We may allow our related entities such as our subsidiaries, and their employees, to use and process your personal information in the same way and to the same extent that we are permitted to under this Policy. These related entities must comply, and will be subject to the same obligations and restrictions imposed on the Company, to protect your personal information under this Policy.
4. Choice/Opt-Out.
Company may periodically send User information regarding Company and its products. If User has been receiving such information and does not wish to continue receiving such information, please contact Company at hello@fasttrack.vc and let Company know that User no longer wishes to receive such information.
5. Disclosure of User Information.
Company will, to the extent possible, control User information, and, except as otherwise set forth herein, not disclose such User information to third parties. However, in the event disclosure of any User information by Company is required by law, Company may disclose such User information without the consent of User.
6. Cookies.
A “cookie” is a piece of data transferred to you and stored on User’s hard drive containing information about the User. Company may use cookies together with its Platform in order to collect and obtain certain information about User, such as IP addresses (e.g., whether User is logged on from a .com, .gov, or .edu domain), domain names (the Internet address of a computer), and type of computer, operating system being used, your preferences and other additional information. Company may collect such information in order to better operate the Platform so as to enhance User’s use of the Platform. By using cookies, Company is able to recognize User when User revisits the Platform, and is able to remember certain information about User, such as User’s contact information. Our communications, emails and newsletters may also contain cookies for tracking and statistic purposes.Depending on the type of browser User is using, it may be set to alert User of cookies. 7. Third Party Sites.
The Platform may from time to time include, for User’s convenience, links to third party sites, which Company does not own or control and that are controlled by third parties. These links are for your convenience only. If User utilizes third party links or accesses third party sites, Company is not responsible for the availability, content, data collection, utilization of data, use of cookies, or otherwise on the third party sites. Company has no access to the third party sites or information collected by them and no control over any third party cookies. We encourage you to read the terms of use and privacy policies of the other websites that you visit. If User’s have any questions about how such third parties use cookies, collect information, or otherwise, User’s should contact such third parties directly.
8. Security.
Company uses reasonable technical and organizational security measures to safeguard information concerning, and submitted by Users. Despite the security measures employed by Company, Users should be aware that it is impossible to guarantee absolute security with respect to information sent through the Internet, and User agrees and accepts the risks associated with the same.If there is any security breach or hacking that allows third unauthorized parties to have access to personal information, the Company will inform you as well as the local authorities of such breach or hacking, in order to assure any additional measures that may be considered adequate to protect your information.
9. Transfer of Business.
If the Company is involved on any transfer of business operation (or part of the business) as may be performed by merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or bankruptcy or insolvency event, then we may sell, transfer or share some or all of our assets, including your personal information. In this event, we will notify you before your personal information is transferred and becomes part of any third party.
10. Modifications.
This Policy and the Terms of Use of the Company Platform constitute the complete agreement between the parties with respect to their subject matter and supersede any prior agreement or communication. Company reserves the right to modify this Policy without prior notice. In the event Company updates or modifies this Policy, Company shall endeavor to post such updates or modifications on this Platform following any such modifications. Therefore, User is advised to review this Policy occasionally, or at least every thirty (30) days. User’s continued use of this Platform subsequent to Company’s notice of modification of this Policy shall constitute User’s acceptance of the modified Policy. If you do not wish to agree to future changes introduced to this Policy, we unfortunately cannot continue to provide our services, and your only option is to stop accessing our Platform.
